Olaf Janke, former CFO of Aequitas Capital and Fairway America, appointed CFO at solar financing platform Mosaic
OAKLAND, Calif., May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Mosaic, the nation’s leading residential solar lending platform, today announced that Olaf Janke is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Janke was CFO at Aequitas Capital Management where he led the accounting, tax, finance, portfolio management, capital markets and treasury functions.
“Olaf brings 20 years of relevant financial services experience to the table, having raised over $10 billion in debt capital, completing over $3 billion of M&A transactions, and structuring a securitization. He’ll be a tremendous asset as we extend our offering and services to a growing roster of solar partners and customers nationwide,” said Billy Parish, CEO of Mosaic.
At Aequitas, Janke successfully supported the alternative investment company’s rapid growth and led the entrance into the capital markets. Prior to Aequitas, Janke was CFO at Fairway America and has held executive level positions at JPMorgan Cazenove and Commerzbank AG in Europe, and GE Capital, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank in North America.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to join a fast-growing marketplace lending platform which uniquely combines the exciting world of finance with the ever increasing importance of conserving the world’s resources,” said Janke.
The news follows yesterday’s announcement that Bob Kelly, the former CFO of SolarCity has joined Mosaic’s Board of Directors.
